  • Is it true that honey that crystallizes is not pure honey?
No, most pure raw or unheated honey has a natural tendency to crystallize over time. Crystallized honey is still edible and has not lost any of its natural health benefits.
  • Does honey expiry?
No, honey does not expire. Unless the honey has been exposed to harmful bacteria or such, honey will never expire.
  • Why does honey sometimes differ in colour?
The different pollen and nectar which the bees collect are all different and because the bees don’t just collect one specific type, the colour of the honey harvested, will very often differ.
  • Can honey have side effects?
Oeps! I guess that will depend on how much you eat or if you have a natural allergy to honey. Like they say:” To much of a good thing…”
  • Why do you charge a delivery fee?
Shipping cost is charged by all online platforms. We honestly try to keep this cost as low as we can, and even carry a portion ourselves. It is there for your convenience.
  • What is the best way to store a bottle of honey?
Store your bottle of honey in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat or sunlight. Keep the honey in its original container if possible.
  • What makes your Whipped Body Butter special?
This product is handcrafted with only natural ingredients. We use raw honey and bee wax and natural oils. There is not a drop of chemicals or preservatives. Just think how good this is for your skin.
  • Does bee wax really have health benefits?
Oh yes for sure. For example, in medicine, bee wax contains long - chain fatty acids and alcohols that can assist in reducing high blood cholesterol levels. It is also used to relieve pain, swelling and inflammation. When used in your daily skincare routine, like using our Whipped Body Butter, the bee wax locks in moisture and can help keep the skin firm and plump. The anti-allergenic and anti-inflammatory properties soothe easily irritated skin, making it one of the best skincare ingredients. Try our body butter to see for yourself.
  • Is honey gluten free?
Yes, it is naturally gluten free. And this makes honey a product that can be consumed by people who suffers from gluten intolerance.
  • Can I feed honey to my baby?
Occasionally, honey contains bacteria that can produce toxins in a baby's intestines, leading to infant botulism. It is a rare decease, but can be fatal. Please do not give your child honey until they're over 1 year old.
  • What is adulterated honey?
That is honey that has been mixed with other substances, like added sugars or sweeteners, rendering the honey poorer in quality. We do not supply adulterated honey.
  • Has your honey been pasteurized?
No, pasteurized honey is honey that has been exposed to high temperature during the processing process. We supply unpasteurized honey. Pasteurized honey, it is believed, will contain fewer antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and healthy enzymes than raw, unpasteurized honey. Honey is often pasteurized to prolong its shelf life, slow down the crystallization process and makes it smooth.
  • Is honey considered Vegan?
No, unfortunately not. Honey is produced by bees and they are animals.
